Outlaw Jesse James is rumored to be the 'fastest gun in the West'. An eager recruit into James' notorious gang, Robert Ford eventually grows jealous of the famed outlaw and, when Robert and his brother sense an opportunity to kill James, their murderous action elevates their target to near mythical status.
I quite like this poster. I liked it when I first made it, and I like it now. I think the torn up old photo does a lot of heavy lifting here.
This film could possibly have been my introduction to Casey Affleck. Great actor (and possibly a terrible human being, but who can tell anymore?), and he was indeed great in this as the “coward” Robert Ford. There’s not much to say about Brad Pitt. He always delivers.
